Lake of Sunrise is a non-governmental organization uniting performing arts groups across cultural traditions. We exist because artistic communities deserve a shared platform — one that speaks across institutional boundaries and geographic borders.
Our members include organizations rooted in Asian performing arts traditions, Indigenous cultural practices, Western classical music and theater, Modern Jazz, and contemporary interdisciplinary work. What unites us is a belief that artistic freedom is not a privilege — it is a right.

What We Do
We empower member organizations to reach audiences and decision-makers directly — providing tools, platforms, and collective support to ensure their voices are heard.
We connect arts organizations across cultural traditions, creating a network where shared challenges become collective opportunities and where diverse voices strengthen one another.
We provide members with tools to communicate directly with their audiences, patrons, and policymakers — without intermediaries filtering or limiting their message.
We advocate for policies and environments that protect artistic freedom — at institutional, governmental, and community levels — grounded in respect for cultural diversity.
